Tour Plan
Day 1: Amritsar to Katra
- Morning: Arrive in Amritsar and proceed to Katra by car/train (Approx. 260 km / 6-7 hrs).
- Afternoon: Arrival in Katra and check-in at the hotel.
- Evening: Relax and prepare for the next day’s trek to the shrine.
- Overnight Stay: Hotel in Katra.
Day 2: Katra – Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
- Early Morning: Begin the trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple (approx. 13 km one way). You can choose to walk, hire a pony, or take a helicopter ride (subject to availability and weather conditions).
- Afternoon: Reach Bhawan (the main temple complex) and perform darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi.
- Optional: Visit Bhairon Temple, which is another 1.5 km trek from Bhawan.
- Evening: Trek back to Katra.
- Overnight Stay: Hotel in Katra.
Day 3: Katra to Amritsar
- Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Amritsar.
- Afternoon: Arrival in Amritsar. Option to visit the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and the Wagah Border if time permits before your departure.
- Evening: Drop off at Amritsar airport/railway station for your onward journey.
